Mid-size firms use Mike as a private workspace that several practice groups share, each with its own templates and workflows. Attorneys ask questions of matter documents, search case law, and draft in Word, and every answer cites its source. Cuanto Labs installs and maintains the setup.

A mid-size firm has more matters, more documents and more people than any one team can keep in view, and each group has its own forms and habits. Mike gives each group a consistent way to read, compare and draft, without forcing every group into the same process.

Cuanto Labs plans the rollout with your administrators and information security contacts, connects the firm's document system, loads each group's templates, and trains staff, with matter-level access agreed group by group.

## What Mike does for your practice

- **Practice group workspaces.** Each practice group has its own set of templates, saved workflows and review forms, so litigators, transactional lawyers and regulatory teams each work with tools that match their documents.
- **Large document reviews.** Tabular Review pulls the same fields from hundreds of documents, such as agreements in a diligence room or exhibits in a production, into a sortable table with a link to every source page.
- **Cross-team knowledge.** Where the firm permits it, precedents and past work from one group are available to others, so a lawyer facing an unfamiliar issue can see how colleagues handled it.
- **Associate and paralegal leverage.** Associates use Mike for first drafts, chronologies and research summaries, and partners review them with every statement linked to the page it came from. Revisions to drafts show as tracked changes.
- **Case law research.** Mike searches published case law and reads the opinions before summarizing them, and we can connect the research sources the firm licenses. Each case it cites is checked against CourtListener before the answer is given.
- **Shared workflows.** A workflow a group builds, such as a diligence checklist or a deposition outline, can be saved and shared with the other teams that need it. Cuanto Labs helps each group build its first set.
- **Document comparison at scale.** Mike compares incoming drafts against the firm's forms across many matters, listing differences by topic with the section for each, so negotiators spend time on the changes that matter.

## How we set it up for your firm

- **Rollout by practice group.** We usually start with one or two groups, learn what works in their documents, and then extend to others. Each group gets its own templates, workflows and training.
- **Your document system, connected.** We connect Mike to the document system the firm uses and agree which matters and folders each group can reach, so access in Mike follows the firm's existing permissions.
- **Ethical walls and matter lists.** For matters that need a wall, we plan the matter-level access with your conflicts team, so people outside the wall cannot open that matter's documents.
- **A review with your information security team.** We walk your information security team through the installation and answer their written questions before the first group goes live, so approval does not hold up the rollout.
- **A named owner for each group's library.** Each group names one attorney or senior paralegal who owns its templates and workflows, collects requests from colleagues, and is our first contact when that group wants a change.
- **Training and ongoing support.** We train each group on its own documents, offer sessions for new hires, and keep maintaining the system. A firm contact can reach us when something changes.

## Questions attorneys ask

### Can different practice groups use Mike differently?

Yes. Each group has its own templates, saved workflows and review forms, set up with its partners. A litigation group might use chronology and deposition workflows while a corporate group uses diligence tables and form comparisons. They share one installation and one set of administrators, but each group sees the tools built for its work.

### How do confidentiality walls work?

We agree with your administrators which matters and folders each group or person can reach, and connect Mike to your document system accordingly. If a matter needs an ethical wall, tell us at the start so it is planned into the setup with your conflicts team and checked with your information security team before the matter is loaded.

### Will Mike integrate with the systems our firm already uses?

We connect Mike to the document system your firm uses, and to research sources your firm subscribes to, as part of the setup. What is possible depends on the system, and we review it with your administrators before any work starts. You keep filing documents the way you do now, and Mike reads them from where they are.

### Can several offices share templates?

Yes. A template library can serve every office, with one owner per practice group deciding what goes in. Offices that follow local court rules or state forms keep their own versions beside the shared ones, so a lawyer in one city does not draft from another jurisdiction's form by accident. Changes by the owner reach everyone at once.

### How should a mid-size firm roll Mike out?

Most firms begin with one or two groups that have a clear need, such as a diligence team or a litigation group, and extend from there. That gives time to refine templates and workflows with real matters and to train people in context. We agree the plan with your administrators, and we keep supporting the system after launch.

### Who keeps a group's workflows from drifting?

Each group names an owner for its templates and saved workflows. Colleagues send requests to that person, who decides what changes and when, and Cuanto Labs helps with the technical side. Without an owner, a library fills with near-duplicates. With one, a diligence checklist stays the checklist the deal teams trust, even as associates come and go.
