Mass tort firms use Mike to pull the same fields from hundreds of client files into one sortable table, check each file against the criteria for the litigation, and draft fact sheets and status reports. Every cell and every answer links back to the page it came from.

A mass tort docket is a volume problem. Each plaintiff has records, a use history, injury documentation and an intake questionnaire, and each has to be measured against the same criteria. Mike applies one set of fields to every file, so exceptions stand out and the review is consistent from the first file to the last.

Cuanto Labs sets Mike up against your docket folders and writes the review templates with your case managers, using the inclusion criteria and fact sheet fields from the litigation. Health records in plaintiff files stay inside your own installation.

## What Mike does for your practice

- **Plaintiff file review in bulk.** Tabular review runs one set of questions across every file in the docket, such as product use, dates, diagnosis and prescriber, and returns a table with one row per plaintiff. Each cell links to the page it came from, and blanks are marked as blanks.
- **Eligibility and criteria checks.** Define the inclusion criteria for the litigation, and Mike checks each file against them and lists the plaintiffs who meet them, miss them, or have documents missing. Attorneys review the exceptions rather than every file.
- **Plaintiff fact sheet drafting.** Mike fills a court-ordered or settlement fact sheet from the plaintiff's records and intake questionnaire, and marks every answer it could not find in the file so a case manager can follow up with the client.
- **Deficiency tracking.** Mike compares what each file contains against a checklist of required records and produces a list of what is missing for each plaintiff, ready for outreach.
- **Status reports for the docket.** From the review table, Mike drafts a status summary for the steering committee or a referring firm, with counts that come from the table and not from memory. You edit the Word draft before it goes out.
- **Case law and order research.** Mike searches published case law on the procedural questions that arise in coordinated litigation, such as expert admissibility challenges, bellwether selection and preemption, and reads the opinions before summarizing.

## How we set it up for your firm

- **Docket folder connection.** We connect Mike to the folders holding intake questionnaires, medical records and use histories, organized by plaintiff, so a docket of hundreds is searchable without bulk uploads.
- **Review templates built with your case managers.** Your litigation criteria, fact sheet fields and deficiency checklists are turned into saved review templates, so every file is read against the same questions.
- **Fact sheet field mapping.** We map the court-ordered or settlement fact sheet to fields, so Mike fills each answer from the records and marks the ones it could not find.
- **Missing-records checklist.** The records required for each plaintiff become a checklist, and the output is a list of what is missing per plaintiff that your outreach team can work from.
- **Monthly status and new intake screening.** Recurring work, such as the monthly status report or screening of newly signed clients, is saved as a workflow that any team member can run.

## Questions attorneys ask

### How many files can Mike review at once?

Tabular review is built for exactly this kind of work: the same fields pulled from many documents into one table. Very large dockets are processed in batches, and we size the installation to your caseload during setup. Pages that cannot be read are marked as unreadable so a person can check them.

### Can I trust the counts in a status report?

Counts come from the review table, and each cell in the table links to its source page, so an attorney can spot check any row. Mike reports what it found and marks what it did not find. A case manager should still verify a sample before a number goes to a court or another firm.

### Does Mike decide who is eligible?

No. Mike applies the criteria you give it and sorts files into those that appear to meet them, those that do not, and those with missing documents. Attorneys review that sort and decide. The reasoning for every row stays visible in the table. When the criteria change after a court ruling, update the template once and rerun it across the docket, and the table is rebuilt against the new rules.

### Can we use Mike with co-counsel or referring firms?

Mike accounts belong to people at your firm, so sharing with co-counsel works the way it does today: send them a Word or Excel file that Mike produced. Because every cell links to a source page, the receiving firm can audit a table you share without a call to your office. Other arrangements can be discussed on the scoping call.

### Can Mike read poorly scanned records?

Scanned records are read after text recognition, which we set up in your installation. Clean typed pages read well, while faint faxes and handwriting do not always. Mike marks a page it could not read instead of guessing, so the file shows as incomplete in the table and a case manager can request a better copy from the client or provider.

### Can Mike fill out a plaintiff fact sheet?

It drafts answers from the plaintiff's records and intake questionnaire, links each answer to its source page, and leaves unanswerable fields marked so a case manager can follow up with the client. A person still reviews the sheet before it is served or uploaded, because Mike only knows what the file contains and a missing record is not the same as a negative answer.
